Terms and Conditions

 

By signing up and actively using the Commission Scout program you agree to all terms and conditions set forth in this agreement. Commission Scout may, at any time, choose to edit, add and/or delete portions of this agreement and impose changes without prior notification of its members. It is the members responsibility to be aware of changes to this agreement at any time. If any modification is unacceptable to you, your only recourse is to terminate this agreement. Your continued participation in the Commission Scout program following our posting of a change in policy notice or new agreement on our site will constitute binding acceptance to the change. Commission Scout reserves the right to cancel any members accounts, at any given time, for any reason at all.


Responsibility of Members:
You must be 13 years of age or older to participate in this program. Our program is open to both US and International members and is void where prohibited by local governing laws. You agree to and must use your own name and email address in the sign-up process and may not assume a false identity. More than one instance of the Commission Scout Browsers may not be opened at any time. This may result in suspension or termination of your account due to excessive use. Accounts may be removed or suspended after three automatic warnings from the system. Certain browsers may automatically produce duplicate windows, please disable this function before using Commission Scout as you will be held responsible for any errors caused by your own software.

You will use your username and password combination to access your account, it is your responsibility to keep this information confidential. You are solely responsible for any and all use of your Commission Scout account including authorization by you to any third party individual who may use your account.

Should any instances of fraud, system abuse, or any type of activity deemed to be inappropriate or illegal by Commission Scout be detected it may result in member termination and possible legal action. Any use of the support, help, or contact forms to threaten, defame, harass, or intimidate Commission Scout, it's staff, or any related parties will result in account termination. Any comments posted, written, or otherwise by a member or related party which are in anyway defamatory against Commission Scout, it's staff, or any related parties on any part of Commission Scout or any unrelated website, message boards, forums, or listings will result in account termination of any responsible member or related parties. Any revelation of personal information of Commission Scout, it's staff or related parties will result in account termination. Any members referred by a cheating, hacking, or illegal site, posting, or advertisement may have their accounts suspended or ultimately terminated. The use or solicitation of any 3rd party software to emulate the use or action, or result of the Commission Scout browser is prohibited and will result in a terminated account. Members will be notified by email when Commission Scout is no longer in the beta phase of the program. Any credit or commission earned previous to that time may be withheld or not considered as payable income decided on at Commission Scout's own discretion. Any solicitation of advertisers for a confirmation email for purposes of receiving credit in your account will be grounds for immediate termination. You must maintain your e-mail account that you used when signing up with Commission Scout. You agree to receive e-mail advertising from Commission Scout, partnering, sponsoring, or any associated websites.

In the event your e-mail account on file becomes closed or blocked to messages from Commission Scout, your account will be terminated. This especially applies to e-mail accounts returned for being full. Any member sending us falsified emails will result in automatic termination of account and forfeiture of all earnings to date of termination. Auto-responses will also be deleted immediately.

Relationship of the Parties:
You and Commission Scout are independent contractors, and nothing in this Agreement creates any partnership, joint venture, agency, franchise, sales representative or employment relationship between you and Commission Scout. You understand that you do not have authority to make or accept any offers or make any representations on behalf of Commission Scout. You may not make any statement, whether on your site or otherwise, that would contradict anything in this section. You are solely responsible for the reporting and payment of any taxes for money earned while using the program.

Limitation of Liability:
Commission Scout will not be liable for lost profits, lost business opportunities, or any other indirect, special, punitive, incidental or consequential damages arising out of or related to this Agreement or Commission Scout program, even if Commission Scout has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Furthermore, Commission Scout aggregate liability arising under this Agreement will not exceed the amount of the total fees paid or payable to you under this Agreement. The provisions of this Section survive termination or expiration of the Agreement.

Privacy Policy:
Commission Scout may disclose any personally identifiable registration information or other collected information to third parties as covered in our privacy policy.

Spam:
You may not promote your website links through unsolicited emailing (i.e. SPAMMING), newsgroup postings, or any other method of mass communication. Failure to comply will result in immediate termination of your membership with Commission Scout and may result in legal prosecution. Commission Scout strictly enforces anti-Spamming laws. Spamming is a federal crime. Any member caught Spamming will not only have their account terminated immediately and lose any past, but shall also be held liable for Spamming as we shall cooperate with any authorities and investigations that may arise from the Spamming incident.
